Description
Amaryllis 'Double Minerva' is a classic indoor bloomer with a fuller and richer look than the single blooming Minerva. Each thick stem carries large double flowers packed with layers of broad petals in deep coral orangy red, softly veined and finished with lighter highlights toward the center. As the blooms open, they form a rounded, almost rose like shape that feels generous and elegant without looking formal. It is the kind of amaryllis that immediately draws attention on a windowsill during the darker months of the year. Planted as a bulb indoors, Double Minerva sends up strong stems that stand upright without staking and flower reliably within 8-10 weeks. The blooms last a long time and often open in succession, so the display stays fresh for an extended period. Planting information

• Plant the bulbs three times the size of the bulb deep. This doesn't count for Amaryllis bulbs and Peony roots.
• Space the bulbs two times the size of the bulb apart
• Plant the bulbs in well drained soil
• Plant the bulbs with the pointed side facing upwards
