Description
Dahlia Schneckenstein is a decorative dahlia with salmon-pink petals that deepen toward a rosy, slightly magenta centre. Blooms average about 12–13 cm (around 5") and carry that soft, sun-warmed peach tone that shows beautifully in borders and in the vase from midsummer to frost.
Plants reach roughly 90–110 cm and do best in full sun and well-drained soil. Pinch once when plants are 30–40 cm tall to encourage branching, stake to support the medium-large flowers, and deadhead to keep the display coming. Schneckenstein’s warm colouring pairs nicely with silver foliage, deep burgundies, and airy grasses.
Planting information
