Description

Dahlia Wine Eyed Jill is instantly recognisable for its unusual coloring: soft peach and blush petals swirling around a bold wine-purple center. The contrast gives every bloom a painterly quality, as if each flower has been hand-shaded. Through the season you may also notice gentle variations, with some petals showing golden or lavender tones, making no two flowers quite the same. Blooming in abundance from summer until the first frost, this variety brings both charm and intrigue to borders and bouquets.

Reaching around 40 inches in height, Wine Eyed Jill produces an endless supply of perfectly rounded 3-4 inch flowers on strong, slender stems. Its manageable size makes it ideal for planting at the front or middle of a border, and its blooms last exceptionally well when cut for the vase. With its blend of soft pastels and deep, dramatic tones, Wine Eyed Jill offers something truly different for gardeners who want dahlias with character as well as beauty.
