Dicentra Spectabilis Alba is the main white variety of the flower commonly known as Bleeding Heart. It is a deciduous perennial plant that blooms in the spring to mid summer months. When it flowers, it boasts spectacular heart-shaped flowers with large leaves and long stems. This eye-catcher will add a pleasing aesthetic to any garden. Plant it with other decorative plants that bloom earlier and later, so you can enjoy a continuously blooming garden.
Choose a spot with partial shade where the dicentra can thrive. Make sure the soil is moist, well-draining and rich in humus. Under the right conditions, Dicentras can grow up to 30 inches tall.
